Firefox for Android è stato finalmente aggiornato alla release 8. Nell’ultima versione del browser è stata introdotta una Master Password, che permette di criptare le username e password che il browser memorizza sul device. Un’altra interessante feature è la possibilità di aggiungere alla home screen i bookmark ai siti più utilizzati.
Nota positiva è l' aumento degli add-on per questo tipo di versione di firefox, strumenti molto importanti sia per la personalizzazione che per il miglioramento delle funzionalità del browser stesso.Firefox 8 for Android è compatibile con Android 2.0 e successivi.
